I have not been able to connect to any servers this afternoon (about 4pm cst) anybody else have any problems? I'm gonna try again after the boys go to bed - around 8pm cst

ok, got on a couple of server today. don't use the server browser, you just crash to desktop. use the 'join game' button.
I suck - went like 3-11 for the 1st 2-3 rounds, then went 8-11 in a round. overall the gameplay is what you would expect in a battlefield game, graphics are very nice, I like the frostbite engine, you can slash through chainlink fences with the knife. I haven't had much of a chance to drive many vehicles yet. there is a tank, apc, some kind of truck, atv's and a helo on the demo map.
the gameplay is called 'rush', you have to destroy some control points, and then move on to the next set of control points. the map is in Alaska, so there's lots of snow and trees and hills. the attacking team contiunually is moving downhill, so a sniper could stay up on the hill and get ppl. I'm not a fan of the iron sights, I want a scope on my assualt rifle, ala 2142. I think that it is an upgrade you can unlock, but I'm not sure. already, there were some guys with the 4th rank that I've seen. they must have skipped school today.
I'm not sure how we can play together yet, I'm sure there is a way.
I'll play more tonite.

well All I can say is I didn't like 2142 when I first got it and I lUV that game , I will definitely be canceling the preorder by mail if i can find it cheaper ... for others , not too sure if your missing much , but we will be sure to keep you updated .

I preordered from gamestop but haven't seen any email with a beta key.

did you order for mail delivery? if you got in-store pickup, they weren't going to include a beta key
maybe its just late?
I read on the twl forums, somebody didn't get their key with the preorder, so they canceled the order and ordered it again. maybe try steam?
